JetBlack Great Airserve Ltd T/A as jetBlack Airways or simply jetBlack Was incorporated in Kenya in 2018 and issued with Air service license by Kenya civil aviation authority while in South Sudan it was incorporated in 2023 and issued with Air service license and Air Operations certificate by South Sudan civil aviation authority. JetBlack is a lead Air Service provider and Air charter operator based at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after acquiring the Air Service License (ASL) from Kenya Civil Aviation and an Air Operation Certificate (AOC) from the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority (SSCAA) in 2023.

From our headquarters in Nairobi, we serve Africa, Europe, the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, and Asia, by flying you and reaching your destination easily and on time. JetBlack commits to being fully carbon neutral by 2030. We plan to introduce offsets by 2025, and our Members shall be able to compensate for their fuel emissions by investing in certified carbon credits around the world. In addition to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions, JetBlack Airways projects support the well-being of local communities in the countries our clients fly to. We use innovation to drive our carbon-neutral agenda — reducing fuel consumption by as much as 8% through the use of artificial intelligence; replacing 90% of single-use items on board with sustainable alternatives; and offsetting hundreds of thousands of tons of CO2 since announcing our commitment. JetBlack Airways is a subsidiary of JetBlack Group Inc., having its Head Office at Baobab Suite Riverside Green, Riverside Drive Road, and Nairobi Kenya. JetBlack is a replica of the heart of an African who loves to chart the hunt with his community. JetBlack Airways inspiration comes from the love of aviation by the founders of having an airline that makes air travel easily affordable for the homeland of Africa. JetBlack Airways’ objective is to provide Low-Cost Services which is safe, reliable, and convenient to her esteemed customers!

JetBlack Airways has partnered with several aviation companies including ChexAir LLC to grow this sector. At JetBlack, We Make Flying Private Simple and Better Than Owning A Plane. Overall, global travel markets took an absolute beating in the weeks and months after the worldwide pandemic broke out. However, this did not necessarily transfer or carry over to the private jet and charter markets. JetBlack Airways is looking at growing this sector to surpass the pre-pandemic time. Travelers who have the means to afford private or chartered travel but have ostensibly flown first class are shifting to flying private jets. 

There are not necessarily many different types of jet charter businesses; we all share a common thread: lining up clients with available seats. The distinction between types of service lies in how we model our business. At JetBlack, we prefer to sell blocks of time in predetermined increments. The client determines how much usage they require and purchases a block of hours, ostensibly lowering the overall cost. A relative newcomer at only one year old, jetBlack is an example of a company transitioning away from traditional “old money” mindsets and using technology, much like Uber or Lyft, to schedule flights on short notice. Serving the African community exclusively, jetBlack Great Air Serve Airways is unlike many competitors in that it operates a fleet of jets. 

Zeroing in on the air taxi market in Africa, exclusively using the Citation C510 Mustang, a small jet that only requires a crew of one pilot, substantially lowering labor costs. JetBlack also offers empty leg booking to ensure that every mile is a productive and environmentally sound mile. An exciting twist to their business mile is their express cargo service for urgent documents and small parcels, as well as spare parts up to 136kg. Chartering everything from King Air 90s to heavy Gulfstream G650s, JetBlack covers all the bases globally through an extensive network of aircraft owners. Offering both personal and corporate memberships, JetBlack has a program that will suit everyone. 

JetBlack is now compiling an extensive network of over 200 operators to partner with, offering jets of all sizes to clients globally. JetBlack requires all partner operators to comply with ISO-9001 standards and provides this information to all clients, ensuring that prospective passengers are fully aware of the criteria that their aircrew and aircraft have met. JetBlack offers an “Empty Leg” service, which shows all available space seating on jets that have been chartered and will have empty seats on the return leg. If any of these are compatible, the client is able to inquire and receive a quote on that single leg.  

The empty leg is a real benefit on several levels: environmentally, because it does no favors to fly an empty jet, vice a full jet, and it benefits the owner’s bottom line to have to pay customers on both legs. Commercial airlines always fill seats when they build routes, ensuring paying customers will embark and disembark at every destination. In contrast, charters are generally booked on a one-way sort of arrangement. JetBlack provides on-demand jet charter service, and the price quoted for the charter is for the entire aircraft. This, of course, differs from fractional ownership in that chartering is a one-off agreement with no long-term financial commitments.

 Since JetBlack is a charter service and not the owner of a fleet, we have the flexibility to offer a vast array of aircraft in their available fleet, all the way from helicopters through turboprops, all the way to executive airliners (BBJ, A318/319/320, etc.). The company shall achieve this by using continually improved technology and building systems to achieve its esteemed customers’ requirements.
